OPITO Combined OERTM and HERTM Further (FOERTM/FHERTM)
The main aim of this combined course is to give Helideck and Emergency Response Team Members the opportunity to practice and maintain the skills required when dealing with emergency response situations, incidents and live fire exercises, which they would not be able to conduct in the workplace.
Course Objectives
Delegates completing an OPITO Combined OERTM and HERTM Further (FOERTM/FHERTM) training course will be able to;
- Build on the skills and knowledge from initial OERTM training
- Build on the skills and knowledge from initial HERTM training
Course Content
A combined OPITO HERTM and OERTM Further training course includes;
Prerequisites
In order to complete a combined OPITO HERTM and OERTM Further training course, delegates must hold:
Delegates must also undergo medical screening by completing an appropriate medical screening form provided by the OPITO-approved centre (a list of medical conditions which could be included in a medical screening form is available from OPITO).
