AIS Training Becomes Fully Accredited CISRS Scaffolding Centre
Scaffolders across North East England can now get all the training they need in one place thanks to AIS Training becoming fully accredited by the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS).
AIS Training has been approved to run the CISRS Advanced Inspector and CISRS Supervisor courses – the final pieces in the company’s scaffolding course portfolio - meaning it can now deliver everything from basic level courses to apprenticeships, NVQs and advanced level scaffolding and inspection courses from its world-class facility near Newcastle.
The news will be a welcome boost to the construction sector. Despite a national scaffolding skills shortage, there are currently no other scaffolding training centres across Tyneside, Wearside, Durham and Northumberland and only a handful of centres across the North of England.
To achieve its success, AIS Training has invested up to £1m in its scaffolding training provision over the past 12 months to create a bespoke, world-class, scaffolding facility which can now deliver every course needed by those working in the scaffolding and access platform industries.
