Delegates booking OPITO-approved Helideck Operations Initial Training (HOIT) at AIS Training will now get a mandatory e-learning course thrown in for free.
The ‘Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air Awareness’ e-learning course will be included free-of-charge with every OPITO-approved HOIT booked with AIS Training.
This one-hour course is accepted as the mandatory prerequisite to HOIT and equips delegates with a basic understanding of the regulations involved in preparing and shipping dangerous goods for transport by air.
Initially offered by AIS Training’s sister company, Survivex, the offer of a free-learning course with every HOIT has proved so popular with delegates it is now being rolled out in North Tyneside.
The OPITO-approved HOIT gives delegates the knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively perform the duties of Offshore Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and / or Offshore Helideck Assistant (HDA). At AIS Training, the course is delivered in partnership with Offshore Training Newcastle (OTN) at a state-of-the-art offshore training centre located at Newcastle International Airport Training Academy.
