The CompEx Electrical Refresher course is a nationally recognised qualification supported by the HSE, NICEIC and EEMUA.
CompEx Electrical is the only nationally recognised course and qualification in explosive atmospheres installation and inspection.
The CompEx Electrical Refresher course must be completed within 5 years of the original CompEx Electrical course to retain the qualification, which is fast becoming mandatory in many offshore and onshore industrial environments.
If you do not do the refresher within the 5 year time frame (and pass the test), your certificate will expire and you will no longer be 'CompEx' qualified.
Course Objectives
The course will refresh the delegates competency in the selection, installation, inspection and maintenance of electrical apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Prerequisites
In order to complete the CompEx Electrical Refresher course, delegates must hold:
- A valid CompEx Electrical certificate
