CISRS Scaffolding Awareness

CISRS Scaffolding Awareness

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) has introduced a scaffolding awareness training standard for non-scaffolding personnel.

Personnel in a wide range of industries may have cause to work with or on scaffolding including painters, bricklayers, electricians and plumbers.

Site supervisors, engineers, procurement professionals, health and safety professionals and principal contractors can also benefit from an understanding of scaffolding if they should ever have responsibilities for managing site scaffolding operations.

Course Overview

CISRS Scaffolding Awareness training is a classroom-based course that provides a basic understanding of scaffolding.

Delegates will gain the knowledge to identify the core components of a safe scaffold. This insight into scaffolding best practice ensures those working with scaffolding understand what they should expect from a scaffolding contractor.

The course includes elements of working at height training which enables a greater understanding of the potential dangers of working on or with scaffolding.
