ITC Emergency First Aid At Work Level 3 (RQF)
ITC Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) may be more suitable for lower-risk work environments such as offices and/or organsations with fewer than 100 employees.
Delegates will gain the knowledge and skills required to act as a first aider in the workplace.
Course Objectives
Delegates completing an ITC Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) training course will be able to;
- Understand the roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assess an incident
- Provide first aid the an unresponsive casualty
- Provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
- Provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
- Provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
- Prove first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
Course Content
An ITC Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) training course includes;
- Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing incidents
- Dearling with collapse (with and without breathing)
- Choking
- Bleeding
- Shock
- Seizures
- Minor workplace incidents
- Using a first aid kit
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for an ITC Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) training course.
