ECITB Technical Test - TI01 Thermal Insulation - Application of Insulation and Non Metallic Cladding to Pipework an ECITB Technical Test which is aimed at both onshore and offshore fabric maintenance personnel who may be required to complete a "trade test" before their employment is started or approved.
Course Overview
ECITB Technical Test - TI01 Thermal Insulation - Application of Insulation and Non Metallic Cladding to Pipework consists of a knowledge test and a practical test. Delegates will have 25 minutes to complete the knowledge test and three hours to complete the practical test.
The three hour practical test consists of applying insulation and cladding to a pipework test rig at four specific points using the correct materials and techniques to the specified tolerances.
Course Objectives
Delegates completing ECITB Technical Test - TI01 Thermal Insulation will be able to;
- Apply insulation and cladding to pipework at four specific points using the corrent materials and techniques
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and recongnised industry practices
Course Content
An ECITB Technical Test - TI01 Thermal Insulation includes;
- Knowledge test (1 hour)
- Practical test (3 hours)
