David Warren in AIS Training's world-class sea survival centre
Wind turbine technician David Warren has been ‘blown away’ by the quality of AIS Training’s wind courses.
Fully-qualified electrician, David has worked in the wind industry since 2004 and visited AIS Training’s Newcastle offshore training village for the first time to renew his mandatory Global Wind Industry (GWO) certificates for working at height, manual handling, first aid and fire awareness.
David was extremely impressed by the facilities, instruction and food at AIS Training and has vowed to return for all his future training needs.
He said: “I really can’t fault the training experience I’ve had at AIS. It’s clear there’s been huge investment in the facilities here as everything is top class. From the moment I arrived at the reception and was offered free tea or coffee before starting my course, I felt very comfortable and welcome. And the instructors are great! As well as being extremely knowledgeable, they make the course content enjoyable and engaging so my time here has flown. I’ll definitely be coming back to train when my certificates expire and would recommend the place to anyone.”
