Leading industrial trainer, AIS Training has appointed a new IRATA Rope Access instructor to join the growing team at its new state-of-the-art training facility in Westhill, Aberdeen.

Ally Coull, who lives in the outskirts of Aberdeen, is the latest appointments by AIS Training at its new 20,000 sqft² training facility at Kingshill Commercial Park, where it has created a centre of excellence for oil and gas, wind and heavy industry skills training.

At AIS Training, Ally will be responsible for delivering world-class, industry-approved IRATA Rope Access training for the oil and gas, construction and heavy industry sectors, along with specialist Working at Height qualifications for the global wind industry.

A chemical engineering graduate, Ally also has considerable experience of industry having worked both onshore and offshore as a rope access technician, rigger and NDT inspector for several years prior to becoming an experienced Rope Access Level 3 Instructor over the past 10 years

Ally said: “As well as a rope access instructor, I work as an independent assessor for IRATA and it was during this role that I heard about AIS Training. The company has a fantastic reputation for high quality industry training and has grown phenomenally in the past few years since its inception. I was looking for a new challenge and career progression so when a position at AIS’s newly opened Aberdeen centre came up, the role was a perfect fit. I’m now really looking forward to helping AIS Training further its ambitious expansion plans in Aberdeen and to establish Kingshill as a world-leading centre for rope access and working at height training provision.”
